Jonathan Lacefield

Jonathan Lacefield's work experience includes a variety of roles and responsibilities across multiple companies. Jonathan started their career as a Consultant at Solution Builders from 2000 to 2004. Jonathan then worked as a Lead Consultant at ClarityMatters from 2004 to 2006, where they focused on consumer marketing systems for a large telecommunications client. From 2006 to 2011, Jonathan worked at Kronos, first as an Analytical Consultant and later as a Solution Consultant for Workforce Analytics, where they led complex implementations and successfully generated sales and business development initiatives. Jonathan then joined Daugherty Business Solutions as an Information Architect Line of Service Leader and Senior Information Architect from 2011 to 2013, where they led the transformation of the Information Architecture practice and delivered enterprise-scale data solutions for clients such as NAPA and The Home Depot.

Jonathan's experience at DataStax started in 2013 and included roles such as Solution Architect, Director of Consulting, Americas, Sr. Product Manager - Graph and Multi-Model, Director - Customer Experience and Graph Solutions, Senior Director of Product Management - DSE, and Strategy. In these roles, they worked on various aspects of product management, strategy, and consulting for DataStax's self-managed, cloud-native data products, including Apache Cassandra, Search, Graph, Analytics, Operational Tools, and Security. Jonathan also played a key role in crafting DataStax's next-gen strategy and launching new products like Astra DB for DSE.

Currently, Jonathan is working at Temporal Technologies in the role of Product - Cloud, starting in 2022.

Jonathan Lacefield obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Kennesaw State University. Jonathan attended the university from 2000 to 2003.
