Christopher Vlangos

Christopher Vlangos, PhD, FACMG, is a seasoned professional in clinical genetics, currently serving as Senior Director of Clinical Genetics at Tempus AI since January 2018. Vlangos has held several prominent roles, including Director and Clinical Molecular Geneticist at the same organization. Prior experience includes Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology at Virginia Commonwealth University and Assistant Director of the Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory at VCU Health. Vlangos also completed a Clinical Molecular Genetics Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and served as a Research Investigator and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Michigan Medical School. Vlangos obtained a PhD in Genetics and a BS in Zoology from Michigan State University, where also served as a Graduate Research Assistant.
