Justin Chen

Justin Chen is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in biology and creative writing. Currently serving as an Account Director at Ten Bridge Communications since February 2024, Justin previously worked in various roles at OpenBiome from September 2018 to January 2024, including Freelance Communications Consultant and Director of External Affairs, where significant contributions to organizational messaging and communication materials were made. Justin's experience also includes a fellowship with AAAS as a reporter for STAT news, and graduate research at MIT focused on cell communication during embryonic development. Earlier research at NIH involved investigating the role of the Islet1 gene in hypothalamic development. Justin holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Creative Writing from Oberlin College.
