As a RTL Design Engineer for the IP Design Team, you will take part in developing unique SSD controller products and you will experience a fun and exciting startup culture. We are looking for the best and brightest to join us in designing for the future!

this high impact role on the team, you will be responsible for:

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • RTL Coding, including block design, top level design, Lower power design

  • Verify design and debug in RTL-level, gate-level

  • Simulations, design constraints, coding style checking, cross clock domain checking, synthesis and timing closures

  • Bug analysis and fixing, formal check.

  • Area, Power, performance estimation/measure

  • Deliver design/verification/application documents/SPEC

  • Perform design quality checks such as Lint, CDC, Low Power Intent

  • Work closely with the Algorithm Engineer to develop and debug new IP products

  • Work closely with the Verification/System/Firmware Engineer to verify new IP

Required Qualifications:

  • MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with 1+ years of experience

  • Knowledge of digital circuit, and IC background,

  • Highly proficient in Verilog coding constructs

  • Experience with backend implications of RTL designs

  • Proactive in developing and improving RTL design and flow

  • Experience in Verilog design and verification

  • Experience in Unix/Linux OS, and scripting language like Perl

  • Familiar with C, System Verilog or UVM

  • Ability to convey complex technical concepts to peers in verbal and written form

  • A high level of self-motivation and responsibility, with the ability to be a self-starter with a good attitude

  • Good written, verbal and presentation communication skills

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • MSEE or higher preferred

Knowledge and skills preferred, but not required:

  • Storage / SSD Controller background is a plus
