Jacobo R Montaño Carrizales

Jacobo R Montaño Carrizales has extensive experience in operations and maintenance roles. Jacobo R started their career in 1996 as a Production Supervisor at Talleres Electricos JRIF, where they supervised rewinding activities and conducted acceptance tests on motors. From 2003 to 2005, they served as a Maintenance Manager at Grupo Editorial MATUL.

In 2005, Montaño Carrizales joined Tenaris and held various positions, including Maintenance Coordinator, where they were responsible for electrical and mechanical maintenance of finishing lines for seamless pipes. Jacobo R implemented maintenance strategies and led continuous improvement initiatives.

Jacobo R then served as a Plant Manager in Saudi Arabia, overseeing industrial operations for OCTG. Jacobo R managed manufacturing processes for premium connections, handled expansion projects, and coordinated planning and execution for new investments.

Progressing in their career, Montaño Carrizales became an Operation Director, Operations Senior Director, and currently holds the position of Senior Director of Operations at Tenaris. Jacobo R'sexpertise lies in streamlining operations, optimizing manufacturing processes, and strategic planning.

Jacobo R Montaño Carrizales earned a degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power from the Universidad Simón Bolívar between 1994 and 2000. Jacobo R also obtained various certifications from Coursera in Strategy Formulation, Strategic Management (twice), Developing Innovative Ideas for New Companies: The First Step in Entrepreneurship, and Gamification between the years 2013 to 2016.
