Eflriede Pahl, MD

Elfriede Pahl, MD has extensive experience in the medical field. Elfriede currently works as a Medical Consultant at Tenaya Therapeutics since October 2020. Prior to that, they were a Professor Emerita at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, where they started in June 1991. Additionally, they served as the section Chief of Advanced Cardiac Therapies at the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago from June 1991 to February 2022.

Elfriede Pahl, MD has a comprehensive education history. Elfriede earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Biology, and German from Carroll University. Following this, they attended Northwestern University - The Feinberg School of Medicine, where they obtained their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. Elfriede then completed a Pediatrics Residency Program at Northwestern University from 1983 to 1986. From 1986 to 1988, they pursued a Pediatric Cardiology Residency Program at the University of Pittsburgh. Elfriede's education journey continued with Advanced Interventional Training-Certificate in Interventional Cardiology, which they obtained in 2000 from Northwestern University.
