Altaf Farooqi

Altaf Farooqi has a comprehensive work experience in the retail industry, specifically in the pharmacy and healthcare sector. Altaf started their career in 2002 as a Pharmacy Manager at Walgreens, where they gained experience managing stores with various demographics and high sales volumes. Altaf later became an Executive Store Manager within the same company.

In 2015, Farooqi joined Walgreens Boots Alliance as an Area Health Care Supervisor, responsible for executing healthcare strategies and providing guidance to district managers. In 2016, they transitioned to CVS Health, initially as a Leadership in Training and later as a District Pharmacy Supervisor, where they improved district operations and service levels through their leadership.

Farooqi continued to progress in CVS Health and held roles such as District Leader, where they achieved exceptional results and received the CEO award, and Regional Director, where they led multiple districts with significant sales and store counts. As a Regional Director, they also played a key role in a large acquisition transition.

Currently, Farooqi is working at Tend as the Senior Director of Operations, a role they assumed in 2022.

Altaf Farooqi earned a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from the University of Rhode Island between 1996 and 2002. In addition to this degree, they also obtained a certification in "Compounding in the Pharmacy" from Walgreens Boots Alliance in 2014. Altaf is also CPR certified, although the institution and date of certification are not mentioned.
