Gina Rivera, M.Ed, is an experienced social worker and supervisor currently serving as the Social Worker Site Supervisor at TNDC since February 2024. With a background in supporting immigrants, refugees, and underserved communities, Gina has held various roles, including Housing Specialist at the International Rescue Committee and Bilingual Care Navigator at The Shanti Project. Throughout these positions, Gina has provided essential housing support, emotional assistance, and direct services to diverse populations while working collaboratively with community organizations and advocacy groups. Gina holds a Master's degree in Education focusing on Equity and Social Justice Issues from San Francisco State University and a Bachelor's degree in English and American Literature from Wesleyan University.
