Chris Abejon

Chris Abejon is the current COO at Tendermint. Prior to that, they were the Director of Finance at Coinbase from December 2015 to June 2019. Before Coinbase, they were the Controller at Rack City Media from February 2014 to March 2015 and at Spot Labs, Inc from July 2013 to March 2014. Chris also spent time as a Consultant at Affymetrix from March 2015 to January 2016 and as a Senior Financial Analyst - FP&A at Affymetrix from July 2012 to February 2014.

Chris Abejon completed their MBA in finance from the University of Oregon - Charles H. Lundquist College of Business. They also have a B.S. in finance from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona and are certified as a public accountant from the California Board of Accountancy.

Shelley Chang - Director of Business Development, Kelsey Lopez - Operations Administrator report to Chris Abejon. They work with Denis Fadeev - Director of Developer Experience, Nass Donald - Director of Design, and Jeff Schibel - VP, People Operations. Chris Abejon reports to Peng Zhong, CEO & President.
