Hilary Scharton has spent their career in education, first as a psychologist working in a school district to help students with behavior and academic interventions. Hilary then transitioned to higher education, teaching various courses in the education and psychology departments at Utah State University. In 2012, they joined Instructure as VP of Strategy for Labs, where they were responsible for developing new product ideas and preventing client churn. In their eight years at Instructure, Hilary became known for their extensive thought-leadership in the education space, appearing on live tv and radio as well as writing articles and giving presentations. In 2020, Hilary left Instructure to join Tendo as Senior Director of Product Strategy.
Hilary Scharton has a PhD in Psychology from Utah State University, as well as a certificate in Data Science via Python from HyperionDev. Hilary is also certified in Pragmatic Marketing from Illinois State University.
