Joey Hollenbeck has worked in various roles within the pharmaceutical industry since 2009. Joey started as a Pharmacy Technician at Kroger in 2009 and also worked as a Maintenance Assistant at Memphis Recovery Centers, Inc. from 2009 to 2013. In 2011, they became a Pharmacy Technician at Delta Medical Center. Hollenbeck then progressed to become a Pharmacist and Pharmacy Intern at Kroger from 2014 to 2017, where they provided excellent customer service, consulted with prescribers, and counseled patients on medication use. From 2017 to 2020, they served as a Pharmacy Manager at PERKINS DRUGS AND GIFT SHOP, overseeing daily operations and ensuring compliance with regulations, while also providing exceptional patient care. In 2020, they joined Brown Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Manager. Currently, Hollenbeck is employed at Tennessee Oncology, initially working as a Clinical Pharmacist from 2021 to 2023, and later transitioning into the role of Director of Pharmacy Business Management.

Joey Hollenbeck holds a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, which they obtained from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemistry at Rhodes College from 2007 to 2011. In addition, they have obtained certifications in American Heart Association Basic Life Support (including AED) from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association in August 2020, and Pharmacy-based Immunization Delivery Certification from the American Pharmacists Association in 2012.
