Ryan Schaumburg

Ryan Schaumburg has a diverse work experience in the fields of operations and nuclear energy. Ryan started their career in 1999 in the US Navy as a Nuclear Electrician. Then, in 2009, they joined the Tennessee Valley Authority where they held various roles including Operations Specialist, Operations Procedure Writer, and Operations Lead Instructor. As an instructor, they gained expertise in Licensed Operator requalification and Initial License Training Programs, and was responsible for exam development and implementation. Ryan's work experience spans over a decade in the Navy and around 7 years at the Tennessee Valley Authority.

Ryan Schaumburg attended Thomas Edison State University from 2005 to 2008, where they studied Nuclear Engineering & Applied Sciences. In addition to their university education, they obtained several certifications, including TSSAA Volleyball Official in 2019, INPO Exam Author in 2016, and Senior Reactor Operator Certification in 2013.
