Erik Wierenga

Erik Wierenga has a diverse work experience. Erik started their career in 2009 as a Servicemedewerker at Van Neerbos Bouwmarkten. In 2014, they had an internship at Abbott. In 2015, they interned at Wenzhou University, where they designed and built a trimrobot for a plastic emmer fabriek. Erik then joined Liander in 2015 for their afstudeerstage and stage, where they worked on netontwikkeling and provided advice on the netstructure. In 2016, they joined Alliander as a Technisch Trainee and worked as a verbeterconsultant at Liandon, helping with project processes and uniformity. Erik also served as the Chief Engineer for the Liandon Solarboat project. In 2018, they joined Qirion as a Junior Operationeel beheerder, training to become an Operationeel Installatie Verantwoordelijke (OIV). Currently, they are working at TenneT TSO B.V. as Lead HSE Netherlands (Area North) a.i. since November 2023 and as Lead Execution Management since October 2020. Erik previously served as an Operationeel Installatie Verantwoordelijke (OIV) from September 2019 to October 2020.

Erik Wierenga completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in HST Energietechniek from NCOI Opleidingen in 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Elektrotechniek with a specialization in Energietechniek from Windesheim in 2016. Erik began their academic journey by completing their HAVO degree in Natuur en Techniek from Greijdanus College in 2012. In addition to their degrees, Erik also holds a certification in HAVO Natuur en Techniek from Greijdanus College in 2012.
