Joost Greunsven

Joost Greunsven has extensive work experience in the energy industry. Joost started their career as an intern and graduate student at Enexis Groep, where they worked on smart grid pilot projects and developed an implementation plan for collecting data. Joost then joined Essent as a Management Trainee in Technology, where they carried out various projects in the conventional power generation business. Joost later joined RWE Generation SE as a Business Analyst & Regulatory Advisor, where they provided economic and strategic support, analyzed market developments, and influenced regulatory and political developments. Currently, they are working at TenneT as a Senior Electricity Market Developer and Teamlead for the Dutch team of the Market Analysis department. In this role, they are responsible for developing market rules and regulations and leading a team.

Joost Greunsven obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Electrical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electrical Engineering from the same university from 2005 to 2011. Before pursuing higher education, Joost completed their Gymnasium education at Jacob-Roelandslyceum from 1999 to 2005. In addition to their academic qualifications, Joost has also obtained certifications in "Inzicht in Invloed®" from Bureau Zuidema in 2019 and "Certificate of Technology Management" from Eindhoven University of Technology in 2011.
