Marten Den Boer

Marten den Boer has extensive work experience in the field of offshore engineering and project management. Marten is currently employed at TenneT as a Project Lead for platform engineering, focusing on the realization and system integration of an offshore grid connection system. Prior to this, Marten worked at Seaway Heavy Lifting as a Project Engineer, where they managed a team of engineers and specialists for various offshore projects. Marten also held roles as a Senior Installation Engineer and Installation Engineer at the same company. Before that, Marten worked at SARC BV as a Naval Architect, responsible for ship stability and hydrostatic calculations. Marten also had a role at Jumbo Shipping as a Project Engineer, handling technical preparation for heavy transportation projects. Marten's career began at SARC (Scheepsbouwkundig advies en rekencentrum) as a Trainee, focusing on the development of hullforms for yachts and inland ships.

Marten den Boer obtained a B. Eng. degree in Naval Architecture from Inholland University of Applied Sciences. Marten attended the university from 2004 to 2007. In addition, they have obtained various certifications including rescue individuals from confined spaces, safe evacuation from height, working at heights and in confined spaces, and BOSIET training including HUET and OLF from different institutions in 2013.
