Amy L.

Amy L. is the Medical Director at TenSixteen Bio. Amy has over twenty years of experience in cancer research, starting as a Research Technician at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in 1999. In 2006, they became a Graduate student researcher at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Amy L. then moved to UCSF in 2008 as a postdoctoral fellow in the laboratory of Dr. Kevin Shannon. In 2013, they became Business Manager for PDO hematology at Genentech. From December 2019 to June 2020, they were Director, Clinical Science at Forty Seven Inc. Most recently, from June 2020 to January 2022, they were Senior Director Clinical Research at Gilead Sciences. Amy L.'s experience and research has spanned a wide range of topics in cancer, from preclinical investigation of therapeutics to determining the role of wild-type Ras in initiation and progression of myeloid malignancies.

Amy L. earned a bachelor's degree in genetics from Cornell University and a doctor of philosophy (Ph.D.) in molecular biology from the University of California, Los Angeles.
