J. Gareth Williams

J. Gareth Williams has a wealth of experience in the technology industry, specializing in ASIC verification, methodology, and running EDA workloads. Currently, they hold the position of Principal Engineer at Tenstorrent Inc. Prior to this, Williams was the CTO at SVERICL Research Inc., where they provided consulting services and focused on improving digital design methodology, language, and tooling. Before that, Williams co-founded Metrics Technologies, where they served as the Platform Architect and played a key role in developing innovative EDA services in the cloud. Throughout their career, Williams has also held roles at XtremeEDA, Telperion Consulting Corporation, Qualis, PMC-Sierra, Extreme Packet Devices, and General Dynamics Canada, gaining valuable experience in design engineering, verification engineering, and platform architecture.

J. Gareth Williams obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo between 1993 and 1998.
