Jessica Gomes

Jessica Gomes has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Sourcing & Production Coordinator at tentree since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked at OAK + FORT, where they held multiple positions. From August 2020 to June 2022, they were a Junior Production Manager, responsible for overseeing development stages and negotiating with suppliers. Before that, from November 2018 to August 2020, they worked as a Production Associate, handling data entry, SKU creation, and development stages for knit and sweater categories. Additionally, from June 2018 to January 2019, they served as an Inventory Control Assistant, resolving inventory discrepancies and tracking shipments for retail stores.

Earlier in their career, Jessica worked at Olympic Industries as an Import Inventory Coordinator from February 2018 to June 2018. Their responsibilities included checking actual international shipments, managing reconciliation, and developing inventory reports. Jessica also worked as a Store Manager at Trees Organic Coffee & Roasting House from June 2015 to February 2018, where they handled daily revenue organization, inventory monitoring, and employee hiring and training. Lastly, Jessica started their career as an Intern at Canada Export Centre from July 2015 to October 2015, where they conducted market research, identified business opportunities, and created reports and documents.

Jessica Gomes began their education in 2008 at Universidade São Judas Tadeu, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Law in 2010. Jessica then pursued further education at Arbutus College Canada from 2015 to 2016, specializing in International Trade with a focus on Export, Import, and Logistic procedures. In 2020, they enrolled in The Wilson School of Design at Kwantlen Polytechnic University to pursue a Diploma in Fashion Marketing. In addition to their formal education, Jessica obtained a certification in International Trade from the Forum for International Trade Training (FITT) in April 2015.
