Forrest Merithew

Forrest Merithew is a legal professional with extensive experience in compliance strategy and general counsel services across multiple industries. Currently serving as VP/Director of Compliance Strategy and General Counsel at Singletrack Trails since June 2019, Forrest contributes to one of the largest trail planning and development companies in the United States. As Principal at Conatus Counsel since September 2013, Forrest provides strategic legal representation and consulting for businesses worldwide, focusing on various legal matters including contracts and liability management. Previously, positions included General Counsel at Tentsile Tree Tents Ltd, Attorney at Asheville Law Group, and Associate at both Fredrickson, Mazeika & Grant, LLP and Thomas / Lucas. Forrest holds a JD from the University of San Diego School of Law and a BA in Political Science & Environmental Studies from Tulane University.
