MaryPat Peterson

MaryPat Peterson has a diverse work experience in the construction industry. MaryPat started their career at Barlovento, LLC in 2009 as a Project Manager/Estimator, where they served as a liaison for Contracting Officers and Architects/Subcontractors on various government projects. Their responsibilities included developing estimates/budgets, reviewing subcontractor estimates, and preparing schedules to ensure on-time milestones and project completion.

In 2014, MaryPat transitioned to the role of Construction Estimator at Barlovento, LLC. As a Construction Estimator, they were responsible for estimating the costs of construction projects. MaryPat also joined the Senior Proposal & Procurement Manager role, where they coordinated proposal and procurement activities and provided research and information for Bid/No-Bid decisions. MaryPat developed proposal templates specific to different government branches, which saved time and facilitated greater completion of Request for Proposal (RFP) during peak bidding season. MaryPat also worked on orchestrating the timely delivery of out-of-state proposals by overcoming logistical challenges using remote personnel and detailed instructions.

In 2019, MaryPat joined Tepa, LLC as an Assistant Project Manager / Quality Control Manager. Their responsibilities include overseeing project flow and quality control reporting. MaryPat routinely reviews shop drawings and submittals to ensure their alignment with project specifications. Additionally, MaryPat schedules and documents all inspections, conducts meetings to verify plans and procedures, and maintains proper document checklists.

MaryPat Peterson completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management at the Milwaukee School of Engineering, from 1997 to 2000. MaryPat later pursued a Master of Engineering degree in Construction Engineering Management at the University of Alabama at Birmingham from 2020 to 2021.
