Gabriel Novais

Gabriel Novais has extensive experience in embedded and electronics engineering. In 2021, they took on the role of Head of Electronics at Tepeo. Prior to that, they worked at AFC Energy plc from 2020 as a Lead Embedded and Electronics Engineer. From 2018 to 2020, they were a Senior Embedded Software Designer at eWaterPay, where they were responsible for hardware specification, design/layout, prototyping, testing and small run management, library management of components/symbols/footprints, device sheets, BOM items, firmware design, coding, debugging, reviewing and testing, and low-level driver implementation for various interfaces. From 2011 to 2018, they were Sócio Proprietário/CTO and Embedded System Developer at G2N Automação, where they developed embedded firmware for 8- and 16-bit Microchip microcontrollers and products for control and automation for the leisure water industry. Gabriel also held an internship in development during this time.

Gabriel Novais completed their Systems Engineering degree at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais in 2020 after studying there from 2013 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Technician degree in Electronics from Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica de Minas Gerais from 2008 to 2011. Additionally, they have obtained four certifications from LinkedIn in 2021, including Strategic Planning Foundations, Agile Project Leadership, Executive Leadership, and Leadership Tips, Tactics and Advice.
