Javier Vázquez

Javier Vázquez has extensive experience as a Character Animator, working for various companies and on different projects. Javier began their career at Lightbox Entertainment in 2015, where they worked on the feature film "Capture the Flag." Javier then joined The Thinklab media, contributing to the feature film "Deep" from 2015 to 2016. Javier then worked at Lightbox Animation Studios, animating for the film "Tadeo Jones 2: The Secret of King Midas." In 2017, they joined Animatoon Studio and contributed to the PlayStation VR game "Flipy's Tesla! Inventemos el Futuro." Javier also worked at El Ranchito, providing character animation for the TV series "Game of Thrones" in 2017 and 2018. In 2018, they joined MercurySteam and later El Ranchito again, where they worked on the TV series "Game of Thrones" and the episode "Game of Thrones: Episode #3. 8 The Long Night." In 2019, Javier worked at ESDIP Animation Studio and ANTARUXA SL, where they contributed their animation skills. Currently, they are employed at Tequila Works as a Character Animator.

Javier Vázquez began their education in 2001 at ECAM (Escuela de Cinematografía y del Audiovisual de la Comunidad de Madrid), where they earned a Diploma in Cinema Animation and Cartoons in 2004. Javier then went on to pursue further studies at CEV. Escuela Superior de Comunicación, Imagen y Sonido, where they obtained a Certificate in Animation and Synthesis from 2004 to 2006. Vázquez continued their education at CICE Escuela Profesional de Nuevas Tecnologías, where they earned another Certificate, this time in Advanced Character Animation, from 2006 to 2007.

In 2012, Vázquez attended AnimSchool and completed a Certificate program in 3D Animation. Javier later enrolled in iAnimate in 2014, participating in Motion Capture Workshops.

Additionally, Vázquez is currently pursuing a degree in Pedagogy at Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D., starting in 2014. The specific field of study for this degree has not been provided.
