Senior Level Designer at Tequila Works

José María N. began their work experience in 2014 at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, where they worked as a Level and Game Designer, contributing to the development of the game "Hacked The Videogame" using Unreal Engine 4. José María also taught a workshop called "Videogame Vacations" to children aged 12 to 17, covering topics such as Photoshop, 3ds Max, and Unity.

In 2016, José María joined Halfbrick as a Level and Game Designer, working on games such as "Dan the Man" and "Battle Racing Stars" for Android and iOS platforms.

In 2019, they joined MercurySteam as a Level Designer, where they were involved in the development of "Metroid Dread" for the Nintendo Switch.

In 2021, José María joined Saber Interactive Spain as a Level and Game Designer, working on "Killing Floor 2" and an unannounced project for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

Most recently, starting in 2022, José María joined Tequila Works as a Level Designer.

José María N. completed a Master's degree in Design and Development of Video Games from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid in 2014-2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Audiovisual Communication from the Universidad de Málaga in 2010-2014, specializing in Design in Visual and Sound Production and Post-production.
