Will Guerra has over 15 years of experience in marketing, retail, and culture innovation. In 2020, they became the Head of Culture Innovation & Strategy (Customer Success) at tEQuitable, providing industry-agnostic thought leadership in culture, equity, and inclusion to drive systemic change at a national and global level. Will also serves as a DEI Consultant, advising companies on how to develop a DEI strategy and roadmap.
From 2016 to 2020, Will was a Managing Program Director + Associate Principal, DEI Co-Chair - Firm Wide and Managing Program Director + Associate Principal, DEI Co-Chair - SF at SYPartners, a management consulting firm. Will was responsible for co-leading client engagements with the Principal, driving teams to envision and deliver great work, and leading the firm's own people transformation initiative.
In 2016, Will joined the Board of Directors at the Women's Foundation California. From 2013 to 2016, they were an Advisory Board Member at StorePoint Retail. From 2011 to 2013, they were the Head of Visual Merchandising and Store Design at Charlotte Russe, responsible for developing quarterly business strategies, breakthrough ideas and promotions targeting a fashionable millennial female consumer. Will was also the Marketing Director, Visitor Experience at the San Francisco Travel Association from 2011 to 2013.
From 2009 to 2011, Will was the Marketing Director and Principal at MashHaus Media, where they developed business plans, incorporated and launched the company, and delivered consulting, brand, and web solutions to a variety of clients. From 2008 to 2009, they were a Consultant, Creative Services at 7 For All Mankind, assisting with national retail expansion and developing, designing, and executing the store experience for the fleet.
From 2004 to 2008, Will was a Senior Manager, Marketing Program Management and Senior Manager, Global Marketing Program Management at Gap Inc./Gap. Will was responsible for leading and managing a team of four people in the creative development and execution of all window marketing programs and promotions for Gap, Gap Body, Gap Kids, Baby Gap, and Gap Maternity in the US and Canada markets. Will also managed an $18 million dollar annual windows budget. For a three-month assignment, they were the Manager, Corporate + Marketing Pipeline Alignment, partnering with senior management and the brand President to reassess the overall corporate pipeline and insert marketing's influence at the beginning of each product cycle.
