Alex Joubert - Aos

Alex Joubert is an experienced data center professional currently serving as the Regional Data Centre Manager for the Western Cape at Teraco Data Environments since June 2014. With a comprehensive oversight of four data centers in Cape Town, totaling approximately 3,000 square meters and a power input of approximately 5MW, Alex ensures smooth day-to-day operations, maintenance, and installations while meeting operational targets and deadlines. Prior to this role, Alex worked as a Solutions Architect at Dimension Data from April 2008 to June 2014, focusing on medium to large server room and data center infrastructure, specializing in power management and other critical systems. Alex also held positions in technical pre-sales support at CCI Technology Solutions and maintenance at Vital Health Foods early in the career. Education includes completion of studies at Bellville Technical High School in 2014.
