Bahareh Hosseinpour is a Research Scholar at the Terasaki Institute for Biomedical Innovation (TIBI) since July 2023 and has been a PhD candidate and Graduate Research & Teaching Assistant at Carleton University since July 2020. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at Université de Montréal from January 2018 to July 2020, focusing on biomedical engineering and tissue engineering implants, and at Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont from 2017 to September 2019, working on recombinant collagen-silk peptides for bioengineering implants. Additionally, Bahareh held a position as a Graduate Trainee at McGill University Health Centre in 2016-2017, researching the effects of environmental toxicants on lung cancer cells. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Biological Environmental Engineering with a focus on green chemistry from Concordia University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemistry from Alzahra University.
