Carlos Jaramillo has been working in the software engineering field since 2014. Carlos started as a Webmaster for Freelance Web Development, where they adapted, fixed bugs, and enhanced online gaming web applications and the web forum. In 2016, they joined World Tech, Inc. as a Full Stack Developer, where they developed a landing page and teaching platform to offer programming courses. Carlos also worked on a selection process to select a lead developer for the team. In 2017, they worked as a Full Stack Software Developer for Tigo Colombia, where they handled multiple proprietary platforms for evaluation, tracking, and teaching of the company's digital training area. Carlos also supported, fixed bugs, enhanced products, and administered servers. In 2018, they joined IAS SOFTWARE as a Senior Software Developer, where they fixed critical bugs on AngularJS applications, and developed a marketplace to display, sell, and manage all the extensions for LMS. Carlos was also a Technical Leader, Mentor, Web UI Gatekeeper, and Technical Referent. In 2020, they joined Globant as a Senior Software Designer, where they supported multiple developers in adapting to new technologies, and guided the architectural growth of multiple applications. Carlos was also a Senior Software Engineer, where they renewed educational platform flows and improved development processes. In 2021, they joined Mercado Libre as a Technical Leader, where they democratized money in Latin America by teaching and enabling to buy, hold, transfer, and sell cryptocurrencies in Latin America. Lastly, they are currently working at Terminal as a Software Engineer since 2022.

Carlos Jaramillo has a background in Computer Science. Carlos completed a Software Engineer degree from Politécnico Grancolombiano between 2019 and 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Tecnólogo en análisis y desarrollo de sistemas de información degree from Servicio Nacional de Aprendizaje (SENA) between 2016 and 2018.
