Emilia Rio

She is the Head of People Organization and Change for the Terna Group, which she joined on 1 October 2020.

From 2011 she was Director of Human Resources, HSE, Organisation and Change Management of A2A SpA, as well as Secretary of the Appointments and Compensation Committee.

She was on the Board of Directors of Linea Group Holding SpA, member of the Executive Compensation Observatory and Corporate Governance Committee of the Luiss Business School in Rome, member of the Advisory Board HR Innovation Practices Observatory of the Politecnico di Milano and a member of the Management and Diversity Commission of Utilitalia.

From 2013 to 2019 Ms Rio was Chairwoman of AMSA S.p.A., and from 2012 to 2015 on the Board of Directors of EPCG (Electroprivreda Cme Gore). From 2009 to 2011 Chairwoman for the metalworkers sector of Assolombarda and from 2016 to 2020 on the Board of Directors of Linea Group Holding S.p.A.

From 1985 to 2011 Ms Rio held diverse roles within the human resources and personnel management area of various companies and organisations such as Techint finanziaria, Netesi and Gruppo Pirelli.

Emilia Rio has a Law Degree from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan.
