Giacomo Donnini

Giacomo Donnini is the Head of Major Projects & International Development at Terna. Giacomo has over 20 years of experience in the energy sector.

Donnini began their career as a Maintenance Engineer at Italcementi Group in 1995. Giacomo then spent four years as Enel Produzione's Financial Controller before joining GE Oil & Gas as Long Cylce Services Finance Manager in 2000. In 2004, they became Responsabile Programmazione & Energy Operations at Terna, where they worked for four years before taking on the role of Chief Financial Officer at 9Ren Group in 2011. In 2016, they returned to Terna as Head of Major Projects & International Development.

Giacomo Donnini received their Laurea in Ingegneria Meccanica from Università degli Studi di Firenze, where they earned 110/110 LODE.

They work with Giuseppe Del Villano - Head of Corporate Affairs, Pier Francesco Zanuzzi - Head of National Transmission Grid, and Agostino Scornajenchi - Chief Financial Officer. Giacomo Donnini reports to Stefano Antonio Donnarumma, CEO & General Manager.
