Andy De Mars has a long and varied work experience. Andy started in 2011 as an Account Executive at Demandforce, now an Intuit company. In 2012, they moved to Symantec as an Enterprise Account Manager, Trust Services, and was named the Worldwide Rookie of the Year in 2013. Andy then worked as an Account Executive at Cloudability from 2013 to 2015. From 2015 to 2017, they held two roles at Evident.io, first as Manager of the Inside Sales Team and then as an Enterprise Account Manager. From 2017 to 2018, they were a Strategic Account Executive at Kaizen Technology Partners. In 2019, they moved to Twilio Inc. as an Enterprise Account Executive (Enterprise Accounts - West). In 2020, they were a Strategic Account Executive at Pulumi Corporation, and in 2022 they are currently a Strategic Account Executive at Ternary Inc. Additionally, from 2017 to present, they have been a Council Member/Consultant at GLG (Gerson Lehrman Group).

Andy De Mars has an extensive education history. Andy obtained a BA in Economics from San Francisco State University between 1998 and 2000. Andy attended Nutley High School between 1988 and 1991. Andy also attended Academy of Art College, studying 3D Animation and Special Effects. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including FOCP: FinOps Certified Practitioner from The Linux Foundation in November 2022, AWS Certified Developer Associate from Amazon Web Services in November 2016, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services in September 2015, AWS Business Professional and AWS Technical Professional from Amazon Web Services in April 2015, Accelerated Freefall Instructor from U.S. Parachute Association (USPA) in June 2005, Tandem Instructor from U.S. Parachute Association (USPA) in March 2003, and Symantec Sales Expert from Symantec in August 2012.
