Yiyang C.

Yiyang C. has a diverse work experience in the legal field. They started their career as an Intern Paralegal at the Office of the City Attorney in 2012, followed by a role as a Financial Crime Task Force Analyst Intern at the NYC Mayor's Office later that year. In 2016, they worked as a Summer Associate at Stradley Ronon. Yiyang then joined The Wistar Institute as an In-House Legal Intern in 2018.

In the same year, Yiyang became an Associate Attorney at Hogan Lovells, where they advised corporate clients on SEC compliance, debt and equity offerings, and M&A transactions. They also served as a Law Clerk in the same firm for a brief period.

Yiyang's next role was as a Sr. Manager, Corporate In-House Counsel at RLH Corporation, where they engaged in various general corporate and securities-related tasks, including commercial contract review, corporate governance, and public company advisory.

After RLH Corporation, Yiyang joined Alector as an Associate Director, Corporate Law. In this role, they spearheaded a range of corporate and securities-related activities, including public company advisory, corporate governance, and commercial contracts.

Most recently, Yiyang joined Palantir Technologies as a Corporate Counsel, before transitioning to the role of Director, Corporate Counsel at Terns Pharmaceuticals in 2023.

Yiyang C. attended the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School from 2015 to 2018, earning a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree. Prior to that, from 2010 to 2014, Yiyang studied at Columbia University, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics. Before attending Columbia University, Yiyang spent a year at New York University in 2009 to 2010, also studying Economics.
