Ryan Okerson

Ryan Okerson is an accomplished engineer and business owner with a diverse background in mechanical engineering and design. As the owner of Okerson Design since July 2022, Ryan oversees various design initiatives. Concurrently, Ryan has been contributing to Terraform Industries since March 2022, focusing on lab-scale process development for CO2 capture and methane synthesis. Prior experience includes a senior mechanical engineering role at SpaceX, where Ryan was the lead engineer for the Starlink v1.0 project and worked on precision tooling and satellite hardware. Ryan's career also features significant roles at Hyperloop One, leading a team to create the XP-1 prototype vehicle, as well as positions at The Pilot Group and a medical device startup. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
