Semen Sen Kurt is the General Manager of the Life Sciences Portfolio at Terrapinn since March 2017, responsible for overseeing key events such as the World Drug Safety Congress Americas and the World Anti-Microbial Resistance Congress. With a strong focus on sponsorship, marketing, production, and operations, Semen works closely with decision makers from major pharmaceutical companies, biotechs, and regulatory agencies. Previous roles include Senior Business Development Manager and Business Development Manager for the same events, as well as Assistant Conference Producer, showcasing expertise in industry engagement and partnership development. Semen also has experience in coaching youth volleyball, digital marketing, and athletics management, complemented by a solid educational background in business and marketing from Hofstra University and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
