Greg Jones has a diverse work experience in various communication and leadership roles. Greg started their career in 1994 as a Promotions & Marketing Manager at Travel CUTS - UWO. Greg then worked as an Account Coordinator at Weber Shandwick (formerly Shandwick Canada) from 1997 to 1999, where they handled media relations activities for corporate and consumer-marketing clients.

In 1999, Greg joined Cohn & Wolfe as an Account Group Director, where they had a senior role in managing accounts. In 2007, they joined Newalta as a Director of Corporate Communications & Community Relations and later took on the role of Managing Director, Corporate and Customer Communications. In these positions, they led the development and execution of communications strategies, managed internal and external communications, community relations, and government relations programs.

In 2015, Greg joined Terrapure Environmental as the Managing Director of Communications & Public Affairs. In this role, they were responsible for a wide range of communications elements, including advertising, media relations, social media, and employee communications. Greg also led the development and execution of major internal communications strategies and stakeholder engagement programs. Greg served as the corporate spokesperson and played a crucial role in the successful expansion of the Terrapure Stoney Creek landfill site.

Throughout their career, Greg has demonstrated expertise in various communication functions and has contributed to the growth and reputation of the organizations they worked for.

Greg Jones has a diverse education history. In 2012, they completed a degree in Strategic Leadership with a focus on Organizational Leadership at the Ivey Business School at Western University. In the same year, they also obtained a Foundations of Leadership degree from the same institution. In 2010, Jones received a Certification in Public Participation with a specialization in Stakeholder Engagement & Public Consultation from the International Association of Public Participation. In 2004, they received a Certification in Crisis Management Communications from the Institute for Crisis Management. In 1997, Jones obtained a Public Relations Certificate (Honours) from Humber College. Greg'searliest degree was a BA Honours in Political Science from Western University, completed between 1989 and 1994. Jones also holds additional certifications in Essentials of Investor Relations from the Canadian Investor Relations Institute, and Public Participation from IAP2.
