Chris Oestreich

Chris Oestreich has extensive experience in the solar energy industry, spanning over two decades. Chris currently holds the position of VP, Engineering at Terrasmart, a role they have held since July 2023. Prior to this, they served as VP Product Management and Strategy at AEROCOMPACT from November 2022 to July 2023. Chris also held the position of Vice President Product Engineering at Sunfolding from January 2020 to June 2022. Before that, they worked as Vice President and General Manager - SnapNrack Mounting Solutions at Sunrun from March 2017 to June 2019. Chris started their career at REC Solar in June 2004 as Director- Engineering and served in this role until August 2011. Throughout their career, Chris has held various leadership positions and demonstrated expertise in product management, strategy, and engineering.

Chris Oestreich attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 2000 to 2005. Chris earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering during this time.
