Helen Anderson has extensive work experience in business intelligence and data analysis. Helen started their career at Royal New Zealand Ballet as an Insights Analyst in 2011 and later worked at icebreaker, a VF Company, as an Insights Analyst in Logistics from 2012-2013. From 2013-2015, they worked at Timex Group as an Insights Analyst in Demand Planning. Helen then joined Xero in 2015 and held various roles, including Insights Analyst in Marketing Automation (Global and UK/EMEA) and Business Intelligence Specialist in Data Analysis Platforms. In 2020, they joined Kiwibank as a Business Intelligence Specialist in Digital Performance and later moved to Kāinga Ora - Homes and Communities as a Business Intelligence Specialist and Power BI Service Owner. Helen currently holds the role of Principal Business Intelligence Developer at Tertiary Education Commission starting from 2023.
Helen Anderson holds a Bachelor of Business Studies degree in International Business from Massey University, which they completed from 2003 to 2005. Helen also obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Business from Massey University in 2009. In addition to their academic qualifications, Helen has achieved certifications in Google Analytics from Google Digital Academy (Skillshop) in January 2024 and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in November 2019.

The Tertiary Education Commission/Te Amorangi Mātauranga Matua (TEC), is the Government's careers and tertiary education investment agency. We invest approximately $3.2 billion in all forms of post-secondary school education. We fund more than 700 of New Zealand's tertiary education organisations supporting education, training, and research. As of 1 July 2017 our role extends to shaping the future of the careers information and advice for all New Zealanders to encourage lifelong learning. From January 2018 we lead the implementation of the Government's new fees-free initiative. TEC reserves the right to remove any post for any reason. These include unacceptable comments such as those that: -Contain spam or advertising -Are clearly off topic or disruptive -Are obscene, vulgar, racist or sexually explicit. This includes masked words (***), acronyms, and abbreviations -Are chain letters, pyramid schemes, or fraudulent or deceptive messages -Promote services or products that TEC does not endorse, or political organisations or campaigns -Infringe on copyrights or trademarks -Advocate illegal activity, terrorism, violence or bullying -Contain personal attacks of any kind
