Gareth Acheson

Gareth Acheson has over 20 years of work experience in various financial roles. Gareth is currently serving as the Financial Director at Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies, where they started in August 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Finance Director at Crane Fluid Handling from May 2016 to December 2019. Before that, they worked at BD as a Plant Controller from December 2008 to April 2016. Gareth also served as a Cost Accounting Manager at B/E Aerospace for a brief period in 2008. Earlier in their career, they worked at STADCO as a Financial Controller from January 2007 to June 2008 and as a Senior Management Accountant from August 2003 to December 2006. Gareth began their professional journey as a Finance Graduate at ALSTOM, where they worked from 2001 to 2003.

Gareth Acheson pursued their education with a focus on Law and Politics, starting with a LL.B degree in Law with Politics from Queen's University Belfast, which they completed between 1995 and 1999. Following this, they obtained a Diploma in Business Administration from Union College (KY) from 1997 to 1998. Gareth then continued their education by earning an MA degree in International Political Economy from the University of Warwick between 1999 and 2000.
