John Cooper

John W. Cooper was appointed as President and Chief Executive Officer at Tervita in July 2017. Prior to joining Tervita, John was the Chief Executive Officer of ClearStream Energy Services Inc. and now serves on the company’s Board of Directors.

John is a distinguished leader with over 30 years of leadership experience in the energy, industrial and logistic industries, where he steered organization strategy and built successful teams in diverse business environments. He has served in various senior positions including Chief Operating Officer of Savanna Energy Services Corp.; President and Chief Executive Officer at Enermax Services Inc.; and President of Superior Propane Inc. John is also the current Chair of the Canadian Energy Executives Association (CEEA).”

John holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Western Ontario.
