Karin Gomaa has over 20 years of work experience. Karin began their career at Scapa, where they worked as an Inside Sales representative from April 1997 to January 1999, and later as an Account Executive from January 1999 to January 2002. In 2002, they moved to tesa and took on the role of Territory Manager until October 2004. From October 2004 to June 2006, they served as an Automotive Sales Specialist. Karin then became the Automotive Product Manager for North America, overseeing product and program management as well as corporate quality management related to compliance and documentation requirements. From June 2011 to August 2013, they worked as a Market Manager, and from August 2013 to October 2016, they were a Sales Manager for tesa in North America. Most recently, Karin served as the Director of Sales & Marketing for North America, a position they held from October 2016 to October 2021. Currently, they are the Global Head of Customer Experience at tesa.
Karin Gomaa obtained a Strategic Management Certificate in Extension Studies from Harvard University's Extension School in 2019. Karin also participated in the Professional Development Programs at Harvard Extension School, focusing on Digital Marketing Strategy in March 2019. Additionally, they completed an Executive Development Program at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. Karin holds a BSB in Marketing from the University of Phoenix and has studied Accounting and Finance at Concordia University. Karin also completed the CSC program at the Canadian Securities Institute and studied Literature & Languages at Marianopolis College. Karin has obtained several certifications, including CCXP from the Customer Experience Professionals Association, Customer Experience Specialist (CXS) from CX University, Inbound Marketing from HubSpot Academy, and Advanced Sales Management from the American Management Association.
