María Mata has a solid work history in the engineering field. María started their career in 2007 as a Project Engineer and Project Coordinator at Grupo Sicelub Lubritech, where they engaged in control systems engineering and electronic systems engineering. In 2011, they transitioned to CTQ - Critical To Quality, S de RL de CV, working as a Project Engineer until 2013. María then joined Elster Electricity as a Calibration Systems Engineer from 2013 to 2014. In 2014, María started working at Trimax, A Tesco Controls Company, as a Control Systems Engineer, where they performed tasks like PLC, HMI, and SCADA programming. In the same year, they also took on a role at Tesco Controls as an Automation Engineer. Overall, María Mata has gained experience in various engineering roles, specializing in control systems engineering and calibration.
María Mata completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Universidad del Valle de México from 2003 to 2007. María then pursued a Diploma course in Automation Engineer Technology/Technician at Universidad Tecnológica Nacional in 2009. In 2010, María took a course in Automation Engineer Technology/Technician at ISA México. Later, they earned a Master's degree in Industrial Automation from SEAS, Estudios Superiores Abiertos from 2011 to 2013.
In terms of additional certifications, María became Ignition Gold 8.0 Certified through Inductive Automation in December 2019. María also obtained the Studio 5000 Logix Designer & Factory Talk View certification from Rockwell Automation in September 2019. Prior to that, in March 2016, María received the Ignition GOLD 7.9 Certified certification from Inductive Automation.
