Catherine Hanley

Catherine Hanley is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in accounting operations and financial control. Currently serving as the Head of Accounting Operations at Tesco Mobile since July 2020, Catherine leads the Operate and Run side for Accounting - Financial Control, focusing on month-end accounting, audits, and stakeholder management. Prior to this role, Catherine held positions at John Lewis Partnership, including Senior Manager - Accounting Financial Control and Senior Finance Manager - Stock and Device Margin, where business partnering with stakeholders and improving reporting processes were key responsibilities. Catherine also contributed to Marks and Spencer in various roles, including Gross Profit Accountant and Management Reporting, where major achievements included enhancing reports for stakeholders and supporting transitions to new financial systems. Additionally, a career break was taken from January 2012 to November 2017 for family responsibilities. Catherine is a qualified ACCA professional.
