Dean Balanos

Dean Balanos is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in supply chain management, production control, and logistics. Currently serving as the Head of Production Control for GFTX at Tesla since March 2023, Dean has previously held senior roles including Senior Director of Operations at Tempo, where responsibilities included overseeing manufacturing operations, customer support, logistics, and fulfillment. Dean's experience also encompasses strategic roles at SoftBank Robotics America, focusing on micro-fulfillment and warehouse automation, as well as significant positions at Tesla that involved leading material flow engineering for the Shanghai factory and managing production control operations for various vehicle models. Earlier career milestones include serving as Marine Operations Manager at Ports America, where operational efficiency and leadership were key to successful vessel operations. Dean holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and Economics from The City University of New York.
