Jason Shawhan

Jason Shawhan is an experienced manufacturing professional with a focus on the automotive industry. Jason served as a Senior Director of Manufacturing at Tesla from April 2021 to April 2024 and held key positions such as Director of Manufacturing at the same company. Prior to Tesla, Jason worked at Ford Motor Company from October 2015 to March 2021, where roles included F-150 Assistant Plant Manager, F-150 Truck Final Area Manager, and F-150 Truck Body Area Manager. Earlier in Jason's career, experience included a position as a Design and Release Engineer for Conveyor Systems at Act-1 from January 1999 to January 2002. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Mississippi State University (2015-2021) and a Master of Engineering in Engineering Management from Missouri University of Science and Technology (2008-2011).
