Mao Gao

Mao Gao is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in supplier industrialization, quality management, and packaging engineering. Currently serving as a Staff Supplier Industrialization Engineer-Components at Tesla since January 2020, Mao has previously held roles as Supplier Quality Manager at Huawei Technologies in the USA and as a Senior Engineer at Infineon Technologies and Intel Corporation. At Intel, Mao led cross-functional teams to design high-speed interconnect components and improve product quality and reliability. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Material Science and Engineering from Binghamton University and two degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Wuhan University. Mao's early research experience includes work at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Wuhan University, focusing on heat transfer simulations and combustion technology.
