Paul Venhovens

Paul Venhovens is an accomplished engineer and academic with extensive experience in the automotive industry and education. Currently serving as a Principal New Programs Engineer and previously as Senior Staff New Programs Engineer at Tesla, Paul has focused on innovative engineering solutions. At Clemson University ICAR, Paul held the position of Professor and BMW Endowed Chair in Automotive Systems Integration, and also served as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Automotive Engineering. Paul's career at BMW Group included roles as Senior Development Engineer in both Functional Concept Design and Method & Tool Development for NVH, as well as a Research Engineer specializing in Driver Assistance Systems. Paul's academic journey began as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute, particularly in Driver Assistance Systems.
