Rocio Mendez

Rocio Mendez, CPIM, PMP, currently serves as the Executive Projects Manager for Tesla 4680, overseeing projects and initiatives for the executive team since January 2016. Mendez has held various roles at Tesla, including Pilot Manufacturing Engineering Manager and Staff Technical Program Manager within cell manufacturing engineering. Previous experience includes managing production at Medtronic and supervising teams at Covidien while providing engineering support. Mendez completed an Engineering Master's in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Industrial Technology Management at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and has also interned at prominent companies such as Abbott Labs and Diamond Foods Inc.
