Satish Thuta is an accomplished professional in the field of power electronics with extensive experience at leading automotive companies. A former Sr. Manager and Manager of Power Electronics at Tesla Motors, Satish also served as Staff Power Electronics Engineer. Before that, experience includes working as a Power Electronics R&D Engineer at Ford Motor Company and completing an internship at Cummins Power Generation. Early career involvement includes a part-time internship in Power Electronics Engineering at Makani Power Inc. Satish holds a PhD in Power Electronics & Motor Drives from the University of Minnesota, obtained between 2004 and 2007, and a Master of Technology in Power Electronics & Motor Drives from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, completed between 2002 and 2004.
