Addie Bouwman

Addie Bouwman has a diverse work experience in the field of medical devices. Addie currently works at UMCG, where they specialize in the functional classification of medical devices. Prior to that, they worked at ZINN, where they were involved in the development of the NL Notification center for shortages of Medical Devices. Addie also worked at Tesseract Europe, providing expertise in market access for the region of Netherlands/Europe. In addition, Addie Bouwman has worked as a consultant for medical devices at Intrakoop Services B.V and as a trainer for functional specification at Landelijk Netwerk Assortimentscoördinatoren Gezondheidszorg. Addie has also served as a committee member for eindexamens Gezondheidszorg Technologie at Avans Hogeschool. Additionally, they have given lectures on the implications of the Medical Device Regulation (MDR) for care institutes at Mediq, Antonie van Leeuwenhoek ziekenhuis, and Stichting Lucrum. Lastly, they had a role at Flevoziekenhuis, where they worked on the functional classification of medical devices.
