Dave Starr

Dave Starr is the current Vice President of Research & Development at Tesseract Ventures. Dave has also previously held the positions of Vice President of Product Development, Innovation and Consumer Communication at iLoveToCreate, a Duncan Enterprises Company, and Practice Director at Dimensional Innovations. Prior to that, they were Brooks Gray Inc.'s Director of Marketing, Visual Merchandising.

Starr began their career as an Adjunct Professor at The University of Kansas and Kansas City Art Institute before becoming the Director of Marketing, Visual Merchandising at Haggar Clothing Co. In 2007, they joined Wilton Brands as Manager of Design before being promoted to Vice President of Design and Innovation in 2009. Dave held this position until 2015 when they left to join iLoveToCreate.

Dave Starr studied Industrial Design at The University of Kansas and received their Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree from the school.

They work with Eric Foster - President, Jason Harrell - VP, Innovation, Future Lab, and Jeff Chiu - Design Lead, Future Lab. Dave Starr reports to John Boucard, CEO.
