Senior Principal, Research, Monitoring And Evaluation (asia Pacific) at Tetra Tech Coffey

David Goodwins has a diverse work experience in the fields of monitoring, evaluation, research, and international development. David has worked at various companies, including Cardno International Development, GHD, Coffey International Development, Department of Transport, Infrastructure and Energy (DTEI), South Australian Department of Planning and Urban Development, and Planning SA, South Australian Government.

At Cardno International Development, they currently hold the position of Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Lead Adviser.

At GHD, they served as an M&E Specialist for the Australian Sports Partnership Program.

During their tenure at Coffey International Development, David held multiple roles, including Senior Principal of Research, Monitoring, and Evaluation in the Asia Pacific region, Country Manager for the Philippines, Technical Director of the Provincial Road Management Facility, and Acting Team Leader of the Provincial Road Management Facility.

At the Department of Transport, Infrastructure and Energy (DTEI), they held the position of Director of Spatial Information Systems.

At the South Australian Department of Planning and Urban Development, they were the Manager of Spatial Planning Analysis and Research.

Lastly, at Planning SA, South Australian Government, David served as the A/Director of Business and Information Services.

Their work experience has given him expertise in project management, strategic direction, performance management, stakeholder engagement, policy analysis, spatial planning, and corporate services.

David Goodwins completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Botany and Zoology from the University of Adelaide in 1982. Later, they pursued a Masters of Business and Technology (M.B.T.) degree from UNSW, which they completed in 2004. In 2015, they obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Program Evaluation from the University of Melbourne.
